Circuit Parcmotor Castellolí will carry out rapid antigen tests at its facilities

Together with FALCK VL, it will be ensured that any person that will access to the facilities will be negative in Covid-19.

Under the motto 'Circuit Parcmotor, circuit net', Circuit Parcmotor Castellolí has reached an agreement with Grupo Falck - a company specialized in medical transport that has more than 38,000 toilets around the world - to carry out rapid antigen tests in the facilities of Circuit Parcmotor Castellolí to guarantee a safe environment. In this way, all the activities that are organized by collaborators or external companies will be able to guarantee to all their clients that the installation is safe and free of Covid-19.

The tests can be carried out in the Campus Motor Anoia building (2 minutes from Circuit Parcmotor Castellolí) or in the main parking of Circuit Parcmotor with the installation of an Advanced Medical Point.

The aim of Circuit Parcmotor Castellolí is that every person who intervenes in an activity and accesses to the facilities, submitted to a quick test to guarantee that it is negative in Covid-19. This measure has been taken with the aim of being able to detect the virus quickly and reliably, thus avoiding its spread and trying to carry out the activity with the maximum possible sanitary guarantees.

The capacity of the facilities will allow 20 to 30 tests per hour. The use of a mask is still mandatory and the minimum safety distance between people of 1.5 meters is maintained in all facilities.

Antigen test
The antigen test is a test focused on the diagnosis of Covid-19 and the sample is the same as the PCR test, nasopharyngeal, which will not be necessary to go on an empty stomach.
The great advantage is that it allows the result to be obtained in 15 minutes, being the fastest and most reliable test today in the first days of the infection. The sensitivity in the first days of infection (0-3 days) is 100% and from the fourth to the seventh day 90%.
This test does not detect antibodies, but detects whether the patient is currently infected or not. The result can therefore be positive or negative.
These tests will be carried out with health personnel at the facilities, to guarantee at all times that the action protocol is being properly followed.
